The eagles nest, on the Palm Harbor Golf Course, has been given a temporary ID number FL981 by the Florida Wildlife Commission (FWC) – FWC Bald Eagle Nest Locator. A permanent number will be issued when a state investigator visits the nest. In addition, the Audubon Society is monitoring the nest as well.
